Welcome to the Elders Home, Dunagaha
Welcome to the Home for Elders Dunagaha, a cherished haven that has been caring for seniors with love and compassion since its inception on July 2nd, 1949. This esteemed establishment holds a special place in Sri Lanka's history, as it was inaugurated by none other than the country's first Prime Minister, Hon. D.S. Senanayake, a visionary leader who recognized the importance of honoring and supporting our elders.
For over seven decades, the Home for Elders Dunagaha has been devoted to providing exceptional care and support to the elderly members of our community. In recognition of its noble mission and commitment to service, the facility was officially registered as a Charity Service on February 4th, 1985, bearing the esteemed registration number 11/4/2/85.
As we continue to carry forward the legacy of compassion and care, we take immense pride in our current community of 65 residents. Each individual is embraced as part of our extended family, and their comfort, well-being, and dignity remain our highest priorities.
Within the tranquil surroundings of the Home for Elders Dunagaha, we offer a range of services and amenities that cater to the unique needs of our cherished residents. Our dedicated team of skilled caregivers and medical professionals work tirelessly to ensure that each senior receives personalized attention, nurturing companionship, and access to the best healthcare facilities.

We are committed to fostering an atmosphere of joy, respect, and fulfillment for our beloved elders as they embark on this chapter of life.
